The Tom Dickson
Quaich

This trophy is named after one of the early
significant contributors to Scottish parachuting, Tom Dickson. Tom joined the Scottish Parachute Club in
1963 and was a long serving, driving force of the club,
serving as Secretary, Chairman, and Chief Instructor, as well as working at other club and centres in Scotland. Tom was also one of the founder members of the Scottish Sport Parachute Assocaition. Until his untimely death in 1982, Tom's contribution to
Scottish Parachuting was
immeasureable.
The trophy is awarded by the Scottish Sport
Parachute Association for significant contribution to Scottish parachuting.
